Was good to meet you Jak for the first time. And for someone who says he can't gybe that's a very decent Alpha! Nice row of pb's.

Well done Steve on those speeds. I now know what quickly approaching death from behind (in the form of Steve on his Isonic) sounds like. Next time I hear it I'll be prepared It wasn't that close....really!

We should do these team days more often, amazing what can be achieved.

Evan, it looked close at the speed I was going.

I need to sort a few things with the new board, stance, footstraps, mast foot, etc. The nose seemed a bit high (setup), the board was a bit hard to keep flat at times (stance), the sail's cut away kept slapping the water (setup & stance), left front foot never felt far enough in the strap to control the board (setup & stance). Control of board direction at speed (experince with kit).

I also could not gybe yesterday, as the sail I had on loan was tweaked by Robby Swift and the cam batterns were so tight it was very hard to rotate the cams from a standing postion, let alone trying from a gybe.

BUT, it was fun when the tide was out and with the crew. I look forward to next time.

the NM was the run down to the red marker turn around then all the way along the spit and firing off the end into the choppy stuff before shooting over to the boat ramp.  It wasn't direct but still managable.

Can't wait to see the speed you were doing before you initiated the Emergency Stop Procedure...it certainly looked spectacular!

Thanks Jman, not the latest shape, but a good sight with the new shiny panel. A perfect sail for me below the 6.2 Hellcat I reckon. You can try it out anytime

Guys we should still try and get the team together one day. Maybe at Inverloch on a Sat or Sun in the next couple of weeks.

I am up for it.  Perhaps we can take everyone to Area 45.  Need to hold our position in the top ten and be great to talk about a few ideas on equipment set up to enable Drift and I to reach the 30 kt club.

Sounds good. New spots, keeping in the Top ten and chatting about gear setups etc. Plus more than happy to get you guys in the 30s and beyond. When the weather is next suitable for Inverloch on a weekend (minus this Sunday 14/02) we should all come down, with beer and food maybe.
