Shelby (3638km): ![]() Not a lot of wind, but I managed to sneak an hour in without it dropping out RSR 7.0,CA SL55,Venom 30 | ||||||||||||||||||
Mr Love (2508km): ![]() A strange day on the Bay with the wind really varying in pressure constantly. Sometimes 20 knots but sometimes 10 knots and everything in between. I thought I would have a go at riding the large speed board in the 1 meter steep confused chop to see if a board with such a low nose rocker could handle the conditions. Surprisingly it was fine, a little scary at times but doable. A bit uncomfortable though with the super stiff full carbon construction and thin pads. Messed around on this for a while then spent the rest of the time on the wave board. Custom Dweller speed board (Love muscle medium), Custom SSD 86, 2010 Koncept 6.4.

| Andrew Daff (9318km): A frustrating day. Twice, I got 40-45 mins into a good 1 hour only to have the wind die completely for 10 to 15 mins. The 1 hr is made up of my first aborted attempt for 10 mins with a break to change boards and then the second shortened session. IS 87, 5.7m Koncept, Time Machine Speed26 fin | ||||||||||||||||||
