great day ran GPS instead of racing,a nice day apart from breaking my boom.we should move up quite a bit when the others get home and post.today (Monday) was hoping PB's speeds due to it blew perfect direction 30+ knots, and we were only waiting on tide, the sand bars were just coming up when the rain hit and the wind died and swung.ah well next time.....

Nice days sailing at Stanley in pretty decent conditions. Wind was light early on, dropped out and then came in stronger after(20 knots). Tried the desperately needed new fin and god it felt slippery, can't wait to sail it again! Did most of my sailing in the far channel which enabled long runs in flat water. Would have really had a go at an hour if i hadn't kept hooking weed, will have to come back and have a real crack as the channel has super potential. The only down of the day was not getting the IS50 a crack but maybe another day. It was great to get quite a few of the team together especially in the great conditions that we had.

Great to be back up at Stanley and out sailing with most of the team.  Would have been nice to have a little more wind.  First half of the sail used iSonic 94 with Venom 36 and Code Red 6.5.  Managed my top speed on this kit.  Changed to the W49 with 26cm Venom hoping to bump the speed up a bit (and to try it out), but the wind just didn't puff through strong enough.  This spot is awesome and just a matter of getting the conditions right.  It blew a gale all night, only to drop out as soon as we turned up back at the beach this morning and just as the sandbars were bewcoming exposed - oh well, next time!!
