5395 days ago Went down to Mandurah to attack the hour in an attempt to lift our team ranking for the month.
The breeze was around 18 but some fluky patches had me nearly dropping off the plane a couple of times.

Nice effort down there Ado - Slowey may back you up as he appeared from the distance of the river as I was heading off - may have done some hour, nm and distance stuff!
KA 72 "auto-post" is great - well done and thanks Dylan!!

5395 days ago hey Dylan... nice work with the speed reader! Works great! First try.
Ado, Sorry I wasnt there to back you up. The new weapon wasnt ready until it was too late, and I really needed to give it some curry to see if it was the goods. Was looking OK at Melville so decided at the last minute to stay local. Wouldnt have got on the water at manbra till ~4:30.
Broke in the very very green 54 nude streaker V1 proto. Used the 7m EIII, started with KA23S but that was too small so put on a 28CLSL, which was also a bit small. Headed to wally world but was having trouble upwind with the 23, so back to smellville where I put the bigger fin on. Was catching loads of weed on the sandbar at melville. Got my fastest 2 runs there in a couple of small gusts. Then decided to test the chop handling of the board so did a mission down to peli. That was fun. Wind was dropping a bit so was underpowered whenever I tried a run. Got one nice gust but had weed on the fin so was slow. Next try was no gust but still got a 37 on the dial. Then started the mission back to Melville which took a long time being so underfinned in very marginal wind. Got back after sunset... but it added some Ks. All up stoked with the proto.
You can see the walk of shame at the end... and a lot of tacks to get up wind (there were no whitecaps).

5395 days ago Crabland for the hr with Ado and successful it was .I used to shy away from hrs thinking it was booring just going back and forth for a whole hr but am finding the 5-8km legs at hardies realy give you time to work on your trim and relax into speed had 3 x28knt and a 30knt nm during the hr.This particular venue does help, I recon its got a 27knt hr in it !

5395 days ago Quick sail between work meeting and sailing (yachting) meeting, great use of some spare time.
Tabou 59 6.6 Ka Gold wing 32
After a quick chat with schnides took one last run across to Heathcote. On the way back the swell lined up with a great southerly gust and seeing my pb nm time was on the river figure this could be a pb opportunity. Be keen to see how it compares. Not flash but a pb is a pb.
Geat session and slowies new board looks like the Mistral Screamer that was my first ride on a short board in the late 90's.

5394 days ago ummm interesting- lots of sabre rattlin type talk!
personally i think its going to be close to impossible to beat any team that has a 3 month discard...
peli 15 to 25kn great wind and pretty flat for peli
manta54,rssmk2 5.4,falcon 26
underfinned but too lazy to change up
first sail for 2 weeks or so.
had a couple of runs on slowys NUDE Streaker V1....found it was VERY difficult to fault (colour could of been tinted darker)
this guy definetly knows what he is doing when it comes to board and fin design!

5390 days ago Great work team ! I went out at PP late but unfortunately my GT31 did not record a file today ? Don't know why, was working out on the water. I tried an old file on the KA72 speed reader and that works a treat. So easy to use - well done Dylan.
Uploading of file somewhat belated. Thanks Ben for the IT assist !
