5389 days ago 1 categories Late afternoon sail at Ricketts Point South with Bondy, wind droped away when we 1st got on the water then built until I was having a hard time keeping it all together, never seen so many seagulls having a feast on some sort of fish that were in the water at times the water was bubbling with fish.

5389 days ago 2 categories After serious considerations, analysing forecasts and emailing the guys I took the punt and went down to Area45. Arrived at 1pm to find ...well... bugger all wind. Was the only windsurfer first but another guy arrived and then we encouraged each other to rig. Big gear 7.5m and 135L and barely moving at all. Was going to get back and pack up when the breeze kicked in at 2:30pm. 20 mins later I was overpowered and had a handful with the JP 135L. Went back and rigged the 6.2 and took the Rocket 105 and had a ball in the easter channel for 2.5hrs. The tide came in by then and I thought I give the NM a crack ...BINGO, YOU BEAUTY..one straight line from north shore to the mangroves (south shore) and back. Was not too choppy, dejavu just like 7 March, pretty much the same. Glad I went in the end.

May need to score brownie points tomorrow as I was late for dinner and making the most out of this sail in daylight saving, so have fun tomorrow
