Easter Monday and a lovely sunny day at Salty Lake...lots of sailors enjoying the conditions. How do the RSX girls hang onto an 8.5m sail??
Wind stayed pretty much SSW all day and was up and down as usual!  Plugged away at long runs to help with the GPSTC results. No opportunities to bear off on flat water.

Isonic 111 + 6.5m Redline

Hmmm not happy with forecast rigged 6.3 crap crap facking sh!t bollocks bollocks went home luckily right next to the beach got the 7 went back out......

Fack facking sh!t bollocks facking sh!t!!!!! but the wind did pick up for a while and managed a decent hour, average alpha,N mile for the conditions but could do better not a bad distance either would have been easier with a cleaner wind.

Glad to see the matrix get out after moan moan bloody moan.Wink

And also i think we had 4 maybe 5 out today so nice to see a team on the water well done boys i know it was sh!t but stick with it its getting warmer.

Just need some prime conditions.........

Oh Duncan we have to meet didn't see you today but hope all went well.

First attempt at data load here, Monday was the first warm up speed session where I remembered to bring the GPS! Smile

Chop bashing in Poole harbour, no flat water anywhere hence crap speeds. Will T got a decent max on his way home to sandbanks, maybe it was happy hour at his local.

Thanks for the comments and what a cracker last months results were for the UK.  It went to the last day and Howard's anticipation of an epic West Kirby day.... only to be dashed by the last weather update on the morning of the 31st!  A real nailbiter!

Just for the record the average sea temperature for April here in Weymouth is 10C...at the moment it is still below 8C.  Having said that yesterday was a real taste of Spring....at last!

Still waiting on Duncan and Ian's posting.....Big Pete just kept sinking!

Spent his £8 he saved on parking on pie and chips (Supersize of course) but it always back fires. LOL

Just out of interest spoke to Reg earlier OTC if i remember is coming and membership is £60 a year so you get parking and use of slipway not bad i reckon at least you don't have to pay that for that bloody carpark....

Well done Duncan...your on the results board!  Thought you might have sailed a bit more than 17km on Monday...??

Pete... observed your new flamboyant sail technique to reduce weight on the board.  Not sure if sailing on one leg is going to catch on though!
