Shelby and Craig - awesome stuff, you guys are going from strength to strength. Been keeping an eye on your stats over the past couple of years on the GP3S rankings, as we were all pretty close back in 2008/9, not the fastest at our respective local spots, but well entrenched in the "chasing" pack. Now tho' you two are seriously getting dialed and chomping right on the heals of sharp end boyz.

Sure was Martin! That 5.4 KA Race has tremendous downwind speed potential if I can just jump on your gear and pull my best speed of the day. Sail felt super stable and super light with loads of low down power. I reckon if I had it set up nicely on my board I could have squeezed another knot out easy. With the next size up maybe even faster, because it was only 25 knots and the 5.4 was no where near fully loaded. Well done AMac and Martin on that design.

Ageed, I think it can work really well for speed sailing although this is not it's primary objective. I really want to try it in full powered up conditions. The only 6.2 in the country is in WA with Jesper. Could have been the power of the Love Muscle that got your best speed though???

The Muscle S sure felt slippery and sat nicely on the water. Fin was the same as mine. It's a very similar board to the SP40 but I like where you had the front straps. I think mine are too far back and loose in reflection. Need to look into that. Thanks for the tryout mate.

Similar but different. Noticably wider at 430 off where the wingers are so the outline from max width to 430 off is straighter. Rocker is higher at 1200  and quite a bit higher at 1800 and ends with 10mm more nose rocker. It has more V ( This much V was actually a mistake I typed the wrong angle in but it is working really well).The rails are super tucked in the front 1/3 (almost Wave board amounts), which makes it super safe in chop. I placed the straps for my height and weight, as the board is very pinny in the tail I was wary not to have them too far back and sink the tail too much. I reckon the front strap could come back a touch but it's OK.

Chris gave me alot of input on this board which was hugely appreciated but I wanted to try a few different things rather than just copy his great design. If I designed another one I would make a few tweaks (I actually have already modelled the changes) but this one is a keeper for now.

Ah thats because i hate walking, sailing is so much more fun and you get to do more runs down the course

It seems like we have had enough good days down here over the past years to keep steadily improving and it would be nice to keep that going on for another 20 years or so

Haven't heard a lot from WK lately,do you think this volcanic action will mess your weather systems around much?
