Area 45. 12 to 18 knots from the East. High tide for most of it going to low.

Great day off down at "45" with Drift and Crowie. It's been so long between sails it was almost like starting again...Smile Some shocking gybes today.

LOCATION: AREA 45

WIND:  EAST 10-15 gusting to 20 KNOTS

HIGH TIDE EARLY- OUTGOING TIDE

SAILORS:  EJ, and some british bloke!

EQUIPMENT-  Excite 160- 42 cm fin- KA Koyote 6.6 down to Excite 135- 38 cm fin- KA Koyote 5.9

DESCRIPTION:  EJ made the call that 45 was the go and it didn't dissapoint.  Initial runs were overpowered and choppy.  Came in and changed down boards and sails sizes.  The 5.9 felt great!.. As the tide went out the runs became less choppy and there were some great long planing runs close to the nautical mile.

Guys, well done and greatings from Germany on my holiday! I'm still watching what's going on in OZ and its great to see that there is actually wind in May. I will be down at Tarifa (southern tip of Spain and apparently Europe's most wind reliable place) around 7 - 9 June and hopefully I can hire some kit to go out and post some numbers (have the GT31 with me Laughing).
