Got out to late for the tide was to low plus it was very choppy well done Pierre you did well in that chop.

Its not fair missed the right tide and took a risk to sail in the shallow water but unfortunatly couldnt sit tight on the course due to shallow water and had to bear off into the chop half way along the bank pretty gnarly but had full trust in my equipment and had  no problem pushing it through the messy stuff....

Wind was roughly 20 to 25 kts but still a bit patchy had some good gusts coming through on the run and once i have bared off the wind then the lull came through which was dissapointing i guess you have to be in the right moment at the right time.....

Only managed a few runs before the wind died , if only it lasted 20mins more would have achieved some greater speeds arghhhhhhh Yell.

Should have gotten down an 1hr ealier but who knew....

Pretty amazed with the freerace sail plenty of grunt and has a great sligshot affect when preparing to bare of the wind accelerates very fast in the moment and not bad for first time rigging it up Cool...

Looking forward to the Southerlies in the next few days and will see what will happen then fingers crossed....

Got out late, just after the tide started to come back in. The wind was only just starting to pick back up. Was planing 75% of the time. Was SOOOOOOOOOOO COLD!!!!!! I think that this is definitly a summer sport. After 45min I was stuffed. My first sail in about 7 or 8 weeks. Used a new sail that felt arkward.  But had fun.

Well done Pierre,

I saw u out there and it looked really good but i knew i was too late before i rigged my gear and all. I was thinking if we made some meter long sticks put them coloured along the sandbar on a westerly with little bits on the top. Wouldn't take long to set up just as water stopped  breaking the sandbar, u could be confident on depth and wind gust.

I estimate with all the changes you have made the last 2 years you should be going 10 knots faster thenKiss
