AUS2001 (2000km):  4 categories     Netherlands Antilles Mum and Dad sailed with me today but I was out the longest by far and had quite a few sessions. The wind was stronger than yesterday and I was on my 3m and 3.6m and used the Flare 60 litre most of the time. Practiced some freestyle moves (trying the gecko but couldn't get it so went back to heli tacks). | ||||||||||||||||||
KA360 (1780km):  6 categories Netherlands Antilles FIrst day sailing at Lac Bay, Bonaire. Anna and I bought a new speed board today (JP Freestyle Pro 2007, 91 litre) for $300. Used a 5.5m Wave Panther speed sail with it. Wind better than yesterday but died off a bit in the late afternoon. Practiced light wind freestyle - helis and other such high speed maneuvers.... | ||||||||||||||||||
