Hit the water early and got 2 good runs in then the wind went into typical gusty westerly mode and backed right off. I stood around talking with Michael for a while before we both went back out but it still wasn't working. I decided to pack up and sacrifice myself for Mike as the wind looked like it kicked in nicely just as I was driving away. Ah well....

Thanks Rexy for the wind - it did kick in for a while after you left, but it was really patchy, and swinging all over the place. You didn't miss out on too much. The speed strip was totally submerged, but the water was still smoother than out in the middle - worth it for a couple of bearaways. No guts in the wind though.

I miss my formula gear Cry

Avosession at Sandringham, as Mike said the wind was all over the show and very up and down. However the delightful formula gear shone through!!!

Great to chase Wyne about the bay and see how it is done!!!

JP F100, NP RSR2 10.7 (should have been on 9.8) and VMG blade fin. Was a bit over done in some of the gusts and went over the falls a ripper once.

Hooked into a good gust on my first run then spent the rest of the day waiting for another one.

Had to watch out for icebergs in the lake..

Good to get the small gear going again, I probably would have been better off getting onto the formula kit, just not in narrabeen lake...
