5293 days ago 2 categories Decent but underwhelming sail at Stanley today. Forecast was for 25+ we only got 22 and to northerly for the sandbars. Still good to be sailing!!
Also tried my new choco mach 1, have to sail it feels solid and pretty slippery!!

Mirror calm in the Derwent, mirror calm at Pittwater, 15-20knots at Marion!! Good to get out for the first itme in months. Wind was up and down a bit, but generally not too bad, and came in well near the end. Great to be sailing in relatively flat water with a few of the crew. Great to see Anthony Houston out with his GPS today!!!! Marion is not a great spot for anything, but it is a very good spot for blasting. Wind probably gusted up to 25 knots, but the chop picks up when it does. Sailed iSonic 94, 36cm Venom and 6.5 Code Red. Tried the W49 for a run, b ut too rough and not able to go broad in the runs or would lose too much ground (and never get back!!).
Looks like the northern crew had too much North in the wind, but great times and no doubt a good sail never-the-less.
Great to be out again after a pretty long break!!!!
