Bonus day!!  Didn't expect decent wind today..but it filled in nicely.  No water for speedsailing so went out to try and sail 100Km. Did it..and feeling a bit stiff now..definitely require a glass of medicine!!  First time I've had a proper chance to use the Isonic 86 and very pleased...it coped very well with the mid harbour chop.

2009 Isonic 86  6m Naish Redline

Pete was also slugging away at distance...hopefully we've a good team posting

Fantastic conditions in Langstone Harbour for big board cruising,
steady 20 knots ,sunny and flat water, no fast speeds but great fun.

Holiday speed session no.2. Not sure that Kev mentioned quite how far the walk is from the campsite to water's edge at La Franqui....Switching between all combinations of 5.7 and 7mtre SC Race on iSonic 50 and 94. Good to get past 35knots! Think it may have been a bit tight, was often sailing straight back up the course. Last day of sailing here 'cos blew out a tyre on the pram after loading up with full quiver bag and two boards.. Good to see the day after I left the Dutchies put in a stack of 40+ times, just kites out whilst I was there.

Well done Norm bit gutted and feel a let down for not being out today but toes are killing me and i can't sail for more than 20 minutes without serious discomfort. Killed me doing an hour yesterday so there was no chance of me helping on distance.

Cheers Howard my achievement is nothing on Normans, Hes 64 years old and sailing like someone half his age. You have to bear in mind most of the distance he did was in the middle of the harbour with no flat water in site it was pretty lumpy at times, in the whole afternoon he probably never sailed within 100m of the shore. Normski was defo the star, hats off to him if i can do that at his age I'll be more than happy!
