10-20 knots and consistent for long periods, but then a 10 minute grovel time so I couldn't get the hour PB i was trying for. Happy to get the other PB's.

5251 days ago CA47 RSR7 evo 2 Venom 28 Green Island.
Challenging day on the island with 2 quick runs on the eastern run before the fin started clipping the reef ,a wait ,a sail on the Northern Run ,another wait & a closing sail on the eastern run in dying wind .
Wind was 20-25 early on but usual problem of lack of smooth water meant going fast was never going to be easy
GAZ & Firie made it over so was great to have company -both sailed well in the rough stuff so we may improve our ranking ...???!!!

5251 days ago 2 categories Green Island, CA50, Koncept 6.4 and 5.7, Caspar 27.
Started out with the 6.4 and a 34 on the dial first run but started scraping the bottom second run so thought i would go for a NM.
Got to remember not to use the caspars in the chop, they don't like being airborne. Had a big spinout on the first NM run and went through the bottom panel of the 6.4 so changed down to the 5.7. NM was to short and included a jibe otherwise would have been a nice number.
Northern run was fun once the tide dropped but the fin was cavitating on almost every run.

5251 days ago Big arvo in port.Fred and his right hand man Bob came for a run to Port. Wind looked good fredo had rigged a 5.4 .I decided to join him for a blast rigged the same. The sea was rough with 20kts on the beach more out wide,Fred was looking pretty good on some speed board he had dragged out of the closet ,did a few hard laps board and rig felt unreal and was making easy work of a choppy sea had a few good runs with fast Freddy and managed to keep a lid on him most of the time was feeling very content then Fred pulled out another secret wepon speed board number two had a good blast with him but he still couldn't catch me,my day has getting better and better. We both sailed till we couldn't sail any more..A great session in Port..Cheers Ed.

5251 days ago 2 categories Not my favorite Green Island tide but I wanted to have a session with Kamikaze Cam & Gaz. I didn't do the Eastern Run as tide was too low for this black duck so I headed for the Northern Run which was too deep at first. Choppy was hell, I don't know what was bouncing around more, my board or my nut sack But then while watching Cam & Gaz on their speed boards, when they came over they were flying and seamed to have the chop sorted better than me, oh well. Low tide was a big improvement but soon went to poo again so I pulled the pin and gave it away.
But it was a nice day and I was happy with my speeds for the conditions
