PEKA: Amazing one hour, BRAVO! I supposed ( due to the other numbers, 5/10, alpha, NM), that you had to ride very long lines (5km or so).  It would be very interested to me if you can attach a track in Googlearth. If you can sand me your GPX it would be even better. ( miko . tech (afna) gmail . com) I m very interested in spot which allows that kind of surfing. Thanx!

It's almost to the island Brač! How long runs exactly?

Adi, as I was abble to mesure, it is arround 4 km, Darko even more. In so long line it is possible to make such an hour with such a "low" speeds.  Anyway, fantastic scores!

Peka, 1 hour is amazing!!!

Tell me one thing...Did you plane 1h constantly without loosing speed? I tried 1h just once with GPS and I did all my gybes ok but I lost speed in one hole where I could not plane for 30sec. I guess that is a big problem for one hour. My score was something like 21.5 :(

How do you like this RRD 122? Did you try it in stronger wind / chop with smaller sails also?

well,the wind was wery strong that day,around 20-25kt,west direction,i would say strong maestral.the chanel betwen land and island was full with wind so i decided to ride a long rides.i did that many times and somewhere near island brač wind allways drops maybe around 5 kt.that is why i did not ride all the way to the island.distance to the island is around 5.5 km and my rides were around 3.5 km.

since my son started windsurf it is hard to get right equipment at the moment.i took what i had and that was big board with big sail.i knew that i will bee owerpowered most of the time,but i love to be overpowered,i do not know why.an idea was born at that moment,try to make one hour pb.when i got home i was surprised with results of that day,conditions on the sea were ugly,waves were big with chop inside.sometimes while i was riding i was looking at gps and speed was allways from 24-28 kt.gybes were ok and i did not do every gibe since conditions were bad.

for rrd x-fire122 i have only nice things to say,board is excelent,it can handle so much wind,almost like x-fire112.nice gybe,early planning,great control over chop,i could not believe.
