It was a bit of a trying day at the PiT, a big squall would hammer through and then nothing for half an hour,it was like this through low tide and a bit.

Either way the spucial ones came through with some awesome goodsWinkCool

The highlight of the day was watching choco getting along like a complete maddy in a massive squall, off the bank in sizeable chop(and I was told the dismount was the best part.)Cool

RSR 5.8,JP sp45,Kassy 21.5.

Way outclassed today. Some great speeds to be had but just couldn't get the @$%^ together. Having my good sails out on loan did hinder my efforts but no excuses, well done on the great speeds guy,s fantastic.

The wind looked as if it had already come and gone early on, but later returned going up and down and around with a few squalls thrown in to keep the the interstate rivals happy.    There was one Hamma, a Choco, a Fast Slow one and also a NUDE Streaker seen getting a pounding amongst the chop after each of its NUDEie runs down the stripSurprised

CHoco was welcomed to the Pit by getting hooked onto a random squall just at the right time and held it together long enough to reach a sweet milestone ,  good one!!

Good to see you guys again..

Koncept 2009 5.0, SP40, KA Assy20.

Great to sail with the crew and a few travellers, including the NUDEMAN. Wind came in better than expected for a couple of hours making for real speedsailing action! Looking forward to the spring. I think that's my 2nd fastest official session ever.

Nice NM Spotty!

Re the NM, I tried two, the first from where we usually launch, got hooked into a hail squall half way along so had a bit of ice in the water to skate along with.   Milked it all the way past the red bouy and had a 46 peak on the Navi, 34.976NM.    Later attempt, the wind had swung  a bit to the west as I was heading back up past the green east bouy, it looked like it had strengthened so kept going to the boat hole entrance.    Launched and pinched up past the start doing 24 and eased onto the bank and had some good strong gusts down the run, carried it past the red bouy again with another 46 peak but slower 33.117NM.   I felt the later run was faster at the time but not to be.

Really pleased with the 2010 Koncept, this was my 4th fastest session and in only 25-35knots, the sail has heaps of smooth torque and grunt.   5 runs were~ 45, 44, 44, 42, 42.  The fastest windier part of the session was late as the tide was getting up.  I thought i'd go move the car and change down to the SP44 when I got back as I was doing 46's on the SP53.   On return tide was up more, wind down a bit, but still flat, did one run on the 44 with 39pk/39 10sec, and that was it.  Should've stayed out and maybe got 2 more faster runs to get a 44 av, then again I may of ended up stuck in the *pit.

Hey Spotty, I followed you in that hail storm, I was getting my botty spanked on the 6.6 so not going quite as fast as you!!! I saw you keep going past the red buoy and disappear into the gloom, thought you were heading for the prom.
