5235 days ago What to say, we (wad1team) went for records but Da Curve showed his worst side. Tide came up early, choppy. Still can't believe how easy this sail works, I can keep it down and this makes me happy :). $0$0 $0 $02 new personal bests, new alpha record + fastest speed 'jump/bump at 43kn'. $0 $0$0 $0 $0Chose the caspar speed to survive the rough conditions, hoped lateron to use the efficient sonntag GPS_2......$0 $0$0 $0 $0Can't complain$0

5235 days ago 2 categories after we walked 1000 m through the muck and crossing banks of oysters, mussels and shells, and another 4 km of sailing and body dragging to get out to the curve, Steve, Dirk and I met with the others and saw that the wind had already switched west and the runs where too square. On top of that the tide didn't really drop all the way cause of the west wind on the north sea, so keeping the water way choppy most the time. Other then that it was still great fun, this is what windsurfing's about, adventure! thanks guys for sharing the stoke and thanks Serge for borrowing me your C3 venom wide base!

5235 days ago What can I say... Could have been so good. The 4.6 was a great choice, the Strike 20 worked incredible, and I was sailing relaxed even though the wind was howling. $0$0 $0 $0Man, if the angle wouldn't have changed, and the water would have gone down, I think we would be looking at averages around 85 at least. Maybe 76 or something for me.$0 $0$0 $0 $0The walk back was pure hell, 8 bft smacking the sail to the ground constantly. Wat a shame, today!$0

5235 days ago Great day! Started off with severe rain squals and winds picking up to almost 50 kts, but the course what still not good enough (tide not at right level yet). After an hour or do it became faster and soon after the wind switched to west and that made thi water come running in really fast. First run was 81+ top speed, so I thought this would be a really fast day. It turned out the windchange ruined everything. Sailing square except for 1 run. But the trip was worth it. Sailing back against the upcoming tide in 400 kts of wind with 8 guys on board is like half and hour of people throwing buckets full of water straight in hour face for over half an hour non stop! Great fun! Better conditions next time as we still haven't really beaten The Brace so far...
