Good day at West Kirby, well worth the travelling, started with 6.7 / Falcon 80 and new Caspar 27 fin, just getting 40 knots with this set up. Changed to Falcon speed/ 5.8 / caspar 25 as wind picked up.
Something holding speed back all day today, just was'nt windy enough or the angle was too square or too broad.
Nice to catch up with everyone, till next time!

Good one Ian...Pete & Swagger were also out and Pete has still to post.

Steve C turned up...did some flashy gybes then went fishing!

Crowded and bumpy at Portland Harbour, and not a lot of water either!   Thinks you made a good choice heading north to WK..well done again!

Pete....worth waiting for your posting. You and Swagger have balls of steel sailing over the shallows at 35+knts....Tony Robinson didn't get it right and stacked it into his boom (that was two he bust yesterday...both carbon).    Fantastic hour also considering the conditions..   What a difference today, sun yesterday and now today torrential and non-stop rain...at least the car is washed!

Nice one Kev (El Reg), those French cheeses must agree with you!....August has been a good one for the Pirates and of course for the UK batting average!
