ARGHHHHH ..... went out today for a speed run and waited for the bank to be at the right tide....

So when the time was right went out started doing a couple of runs and couldnt get over 38kts yeah the wind was shifting alot and big holes down the course which made it crap but i hooked onto a couple of good gusts but couldnt break the barrier.

so i decided to turn the gear a bit trying evrything but it still made it worse , on my second last run i got really close to the bank had a good long run before me and a nice gust to follow but i was looking at my GPS and it was reading non-stop 34kts and im thinking it couldnt be thats impossible.

I caught a glance at my luff and saw it was toooo baggy and really loose as i jumped of i saw that the downhaul rope was broken and the tack strap was still holding it at the end it dropped down to minus 6 cm downhaul and i figured out the the rope was letting go bit by bit thats why my tunning didnt work ,man im pissed off..

And by the time ive fixed it went back out and the wind was not playing anymore so i decided to do a bit of slalom runs....

But still the wind was all over the place and pretty holey....

Could have been on the 6.7 today wont make that mistake again

missed it by that much got down too late as usual went out for a few runs but really up and down just planning at times then hit something big apprently there was some wild life swimming around.

anyway went in after that. hey Pierre you should have anything to winge about mate.

Went out a bit late and got about half an hour of good wind before it died off. Should have rigged a bigger sail, but still great to get out on the water.
