Sanctuary Point, 15 knots dropping to 8-12 southerly

Starboard S-Type 126, Loft Switchblade 8.5, Curtis 40cm

Disappointing southerly that just carked it early on. I started on my 6.8, but it quickly became apparent that the 8.5 would be needed.

Sandy Point, 20-25knots

Finally a good day here, made up for some of the disappointment of all the 12knot days last year.

Most of the morning on JP Speed 49, C3 Venom 24, RSR II 6.2

I had a few 33 knot runs & 35 but never felt that dialed in, probably a result of only riding a formula for the last 6 months.

Hoped on a JP Slalom VI 56 in the afternoon & it was game on. Tectonics Talon 30 & RSR II 6.2

35 or 36 on the dial almost every run & i could get back up wind. Sweet set up

That's 6 out of 6 days sailing so far (if I include teaching Deb on the Formula board & NP Alpha 4.7)

We're having a day off tomorrow, but back into the sailing on Sat for another week!

Great work Sean, smashed your old PB.  Will be good to see the other guys speeds as well.

Look like all that cold, rainy sailing we did at Hawks Nest last weekend was good preparation for you all!  Glad you're having fun down there.

Well done mate. How good is it down there? Even a relatively bad down there is better than your best day in Sydney. Apart from Lake Dangerous that is.

Sam.

Hey Wayne, I've never seen anyone sail so far up the river to get back to the top. Beats walking eh?

just though i would check out the rest of the place at high tide, and your right walking in soft sand  sinking up to your knees in some spots is the pits, just a great place for speed sailing !!!!!!!!!!!!
