Nice going Stribo! Was wondering why we hadn't had any Burrum posts yet! I haven't visited my folks in Urangan for years, but now I know someone with gear?!

Only one spare but i'm sure you will all squeeze in. Emms moving over at christmas.We got a nice queenslander style beach house in Torquay five minutes walk to the beach and pub. About a quarter of the price of what you would pay in Perth.The renos have begun  Waves are about an hour and a half drive away.Burrum is half an hour. Not much wind though.Usually this time of year there is plenty of NE seabreezes but this year sweet FA . The upside is they are predicting a bumper cyclone season. All good as long as the house doesn't blow away.

The Burrum run is awsome.On dead low tide the run is glass for two nautical miles and curves away for a massive one nautical mile slingshot down wind Thats in a south easter (cyclone direction) I have heard there is a run up the beach for the Northerlies. If we ever get any...
