WIND: WSW- 5-8 KNOTS
OUTGOING TIDE
SAILORS: CROWIE, B3
GEAR: JP EXcite Ride, 50 cm g10 fin, KA Koyote 8.2
DETAILS: Very light winds called for big gear...still it was not too bad out there. The tide allowed us to run over the shallow section and head out on long runs towards Venus Bay (past Screw Creek and Townsend Bluff). The wind didn't die but didn't build so we were left with sub planing conditions for the whole afternoon. After the other guys got off the water I decided to cut a lap around the sandspit. Nice flat water but just not enough "puff" to make me smile!
