Gusty Melville.

Futura 111 + 7.5 Koncept + 40 Talon.

Took off downwind at the start of my sesh and spent the next hour working back upwind.  Hard going in the gusty conditions.

Fantastic session at Pelican Point with Toby.

At one time I heard someone singing away loudly... and then realised it was me!

Big grins all round.  What a way to have the first after work sail of the season!

Quick sail at pelican point, didn't really have much in the tank today so called it a day early

Sonic 85, Ram 6.3, Goldwing 32

Pt Walter, waiting for gusts. Got some good runs. Sonic 95, Choco 30 weed, 5.8 Koncept. took a big chunk out of the fin early on, about 4 cm up from the tip. More rocks than you realise around there ! A PB for this board and my 2nd best, so better than it felt. I think the fast run was the one where I could see the end of the gust on the water in front of me and just laughed as I caught it and sailed out of the wind.  Went from 33.7 , 32.2, 30, 27, 24, 23 ,22 , 20 as I left the wind

Skunky session at Wallyworld with Recycle and Hardpole.

Arrived to find it super shallow. Whole bar exposed and some but the water was real flat and the wind appeared to be building.

Rigged slowly with Recycle and by the time Hardpole arrived we had decided to go for it.

Put the 6.3 on the nonose even though this combo is hard work in gusty conditions.

Wind dropped and became super gusty. Rarely got a run down the length of the bar.

Just shows how important flat water is though as barely felt I was planing and display said mid to high 32s.

Recycle's C3 slingshot 21 looked weird but boy it seemed to work well. Pointed higher than my KA 23.

Well done guys on nudging the mile up.

Hardpole top speedster!Cool You made the right choice to switch boards. 2nd highest peak ever for you and I guess a PB for the sonic.

That definitely is a first being fastest (so far) for the team. To be honest never thought it would happen. I was hoping you would post a 34.4 and get our month 2 sec up a little bit Smile

Congratulations Jeff!

You're doing well when you go faster than the rest of the team who sailed today!
