Pepe47 (7101km): 8.2m H2, 135l rocket. true ames blade weed. Rigged for a light wind sail, half an hour later the wind showed up making things interesting.
Craw (3644km): 7.8 rsr,74 jp ss,46 cm fin Hello Aunty Jack!
short blast at melville, was risking it a bit with the big fin in the shallows felt it nick the bottom a few times.Pb 2 sec with this combo still can't figure out how I held on.called it off early as I felt old aunty jack was going to come through my speakers sail and rip my bloody arms off!
Hardie (20239km): Great short session when I wasnt even gonna sail TR-4 6.3m iSo 94 2010 Carbon LE weed 27cm Gotta check these proximity gybes, need to put markers out at Hardies cant tell where 50 meteres is? Fun doing Alpha practice w Elmo!!!!
Elmo (15665km): JP SS 2011 65cm, NP RSR 6.7m, JP Weed 36cm Had my heart set on a wave sail today had been looking forward to it all day, left my last call at 3 with the trees moving Nicely, half way home I gave into temptation and called up Mike and Dot, Mike was having a Nanna nap so Dot gave me the news, weaist high and sailable if you were desperate, really desperate I was Gutted I almost flagged it but decided after 20mins of moping around like a bit Red furry whyny git i decided to drag my sorry arse back down to the run. Got down there to see Robin, Matt L (who also came down for a wave sail) and Cheryll ripping around on an ok looking estuary, decided buggerit I'm gonna pick up the Bendymans Gauntlett which he pitched in my general direction and practise Gybes Hardz rocked up and looked as Misserable as I felt (he'd just scraped himself out of the fart sack) told him what I was planning which he was up for as well. Went out and had a ball, found some realtively flattish water and practised like a Fat red furry Muppet is normally to lazy to do, I was a podgy red gybing maching, even managed to survive and make good the rehook gybes which generally end badly. My R-L gybes are going well but still got to work or my L-R as I'm not flattening out the board soon enough. At the end of the session, the frown had been turned upside down, I was a happy little Muppet Sssswwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttt

Sammy (16210km): hard work pays of , not a big pb but a pb is a pb!! (and that top up my best of) After feeling sore from yesterdays I never thought I would have a sail... until I heard the wind pushing the windows! Checked seabreeze for tide and actual wind... its looking good for a 5m sail. I though good stuff that will be easy on the muscles and can go for some alphas training in the pond! (I thought El capo is up to something with alpha and may need some back up ) After enjoying the yesterday combo I decided to use the same and introduced Mr Lockwood to the pond. Great session with smoking alphas at full speed and laydown (most of them far too wide, coz the downwinders). Awesome fun specialy the last 30 mins when the kites cleared the deck and 2 of us was having a chase around the pond . gosh, I love that combo XFire80L, RSS_5.0, Ka_230 |
