I got this one very wrong, expecting 8m or 9m medium slalom, but gusts up to 35k. Smallest kit I took was a 7m and a W58 XL speedboard. Board was great in the very gusty WSW winds, but I was way over powered on the 7m, struggled to sheet in during the gusts. A 6.3m maybe even a 5.7m and it would have been a fast port tack session. Loads of freeriders/freestylers out on 4.5m's and 5m's that though I was bonkers trying to sail a 7m. But, it was still fun, a warm 15 degrees, rain stung your face. Good session with Chris B and Rob M.

Fantastic day at West Kirby !  Turned up at 1pm with the forcast saying it was going to drop in the afternoon so I rigged big...Huge Mistake,,it blew it's socks off all afternoon, was massively overpowered but hung on thinking it was gonna drop anytime. It never did DOH !!!  Got a half decent Alpha but was holding tooo much power down in my sail to try anything fancy.
