With a Tropical Low starting to spin around Cairns the whole area has been getting lots of rain.   (last night Tinaroo Dam had 120 ml)

I hadn't had a sail for about 12 days so decided to go down and have a look.   Visibility very low and the wind very gusty.   Rigged a 5.9 Loft 02.

Conditions were such that one minute I was just standing and then the bullets would just about rip my arms out.    Heavy rain all the time.

good sesh to come back to. On off day at bowen with squalls coming through at random. Got hold of a squall and went deep, i mean real deep and the chop seamed to behave exactly at the right time for my run...... white knuckle fever oh yeah. i would say this is a "CHOP" PB by a long way.

Rigged the 7.5 Koncept thinking the wind was going to fill in and went for one run and realised the big gear would be better.  Changed up and sailed around to main beach.  A few others out but wind never really amounted to much.  Caught something fishy on the fin going broad and went into a slow mo catapult.  Only time I came off for the entire sail.   Difficult pointing hard home as wind died off at end.

Otherwise really pleased with my 1 hour and Alpha (Yeppoon PB for Alpha on the big gear  Oops, no it wasn't)
