iSonic 125 Sailworks 6.5 at Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Used a 370 teckno fin today. What a difference a fin makes. For once I was in control not the board.

I think the needle on my GPS is stuck at 25.74 knots DAMN, it felt quicker.

Exocet Sting 134, Mauisails Titan 6.5 / 9.0, Exocet 46cm fin/Select RS7 51cm - Wind NE 12-20 kts

What a day!  Did some formula training first up, but the wind picked up too much so swapped down to the slalom board and 6.5.  Had a good hour or so before the wind dropped off again so re-rerigged the 9.0 and took it out on the slalom board.  Checked my GPS and it said i had done 32NM.  As I was already close to a PB, decided to keep sailing to 40, and fortunately the wind cooperated.   Great to sail with Geoff and Tom.  Its a long time since I felt this tired after sailing, but its a great feeling!

NE 10-15. water almost calm. A sit back in the harness and relax day....10.7 evo11, ca formula,..Not quite true. To sit back .. etc. on a formula board is a no no and something bad will happen soon unless i lean right out far as possible from the rig. Then i think about  a daydream.

a bit light for a gorilla on this size board, but was keen to give it a go,first real go on it.very happy under the conditions.

with Rachael & the Kids still away,i thought James was going to sail all night.

James do you know whether you got 27 with the 6.5 or the 9.0?

Just wondering as I had a 6.5 up. Maybe a bigger sail would have got me over the line.

good to see you up there Mick, such a great spot. I'm looking forward to next weekend.

My adjustable outhaul busted leaving me stuck with a single speed sail...Luckily my 12.0 gave me enough grunt to get downwind Cool
