Sonic 85, Koncept 5.7, 32 Vector  18- 20 knots

A short late afternoon sail in between hearing all the news from the first day back at school and cooking dinner.

A good workout and lots of fun.

A bit of fun at Pt Walter. Not as good as I was hoping, and rigged too small.

Fun sesh at Peli dialling in the new 7.6 TR7.  Great sail Cool

Paired with the 111 Futura + 40 Talon she was a dynamite combo.  Fully lit early on in the 25K gusts.

Sailed the first two heats of the slalom, but after my usual frustration trying to get going from the standing start I flagged it and went free sailing.  Breeze was fading, so I couldn't improve on my earlier speeds or NM, but enjoyed cruising around.

Great sail.  The TR7 is sweet.  Heaps of grunt, but never felt like it was going to throw me, even in the strongest gusts.

And Sail before Peli racing.

Wind picked up nicely but big flotillas of yachts racing made it far from smooth.

Continue to be impressed with the sail as I went for Naughty miles and it just blasted me across the chop in control at all times Seabreeze shows gusts to 25. Stopped too soon as the run in was slow. Got a 30.84 for 1500m and 31 for 1375Yell

track

Fastest speed was in the middle (mid river PB)

Nothing to write home about. Managed to temporarily get the GPS to talk to my PC. Still struggling to update the firmware.

My GPS is completely messed up when connectiong to the PC. Spent hours around it, and every time it gets worse.
Just as well...Time for me to focus on the core skills then I'll get a GT31.

Went to Pinnaroo, and started rigging 6.8. People told me I was mad, as they were all downsizing, so I checkened out and rigged 6m...Should have known better than to listen to other people...

Either way, it was mostly a struggle. I'm boring myself to death over my rear-crap problem, so I'll go quitet for a few months until I sort the lot out.  See you on the water...

Good sailing all you guys, have to catch up soon.  Had a nice coast run, a bit of swell still around and a lot of the sand has come back.  GPS didnt record anything. not sure why not but no big deal.

And dont worry about fiddling with the GPS Obelix, we all have our moments with the tech stuff but its the fun and TOW that matters.
