Pelican Point, WA, AU   JP 84, 5.4 lightning, 30cm slalom

oh well not as fast as would have liked very choppy and never got the gust and flat water at the same time knew I was struggling so went for nm runs  and had some fun with that in the end pretty knackered(ouch my sore back) so called a day hope others got a bit more windtried some longer lines too felt good but not sure they suit me.

looking forward to STC and nut some stuff out with the crew.

Lucky Bay.Not a bad day in sometimes marginal conditions. Should have rigged the 7.5 Overdrive but I was convinced it would pick up.

Middle cam kept popping off and took till packup to work out it was a damaged batten. When holding the sail against the sunlight you can see the delam in the batten. Thanks for that Steve S.Smile

Futura 111,6.5 Overdrive, 34 Drake Slalom.

Lucky Bay on Carbon Art SP40,6.7 Overdrive,CL20 weed. Sailed around LB in marginal conditions then made the really BAD call to sali to Pt Walter. Couldnt make it, big wind shadow ,spent over an hour swimming or dogging back knee deep. Absolutley KnackeredCryYell

Puts a new spin on the saying"CHOOSE WISELY"

baldy- out to 30 from 24 felt better especially upwind I guess not oversheeting so much less spin downwind hanging off the back a little more and rig more upright still didn't help speed but as I said lots of chop and couldn't find right gust. pretttysore tonight not sure if from longer sail or long lines and too much arms. Unhooked on own a couple of times which was fun in the chop.....

I can't say the table above had anything to do with my results today but it is an extra motivation for next time out.

nice one obi looks like I've got some things to work on. yep, pretty stuffed, and sore today, feels good though think I had a bit of a breakthrough sail yesterday. apprehension of venturing to far, gone.
