Early morning session. Had to do a conference call at 13.00 hrs. Wind was not very strong. That happened later in de the afternoon.... So I expect some good speeds from others. Given de conditions I am very happy with this session. First time on WarpF2009 6,3 and first time on the FF79 with Caspar 27 fin. Like the Germans say: darauf stehen und wohlfuhlen. Gibing goes nicely; I improved my Alpha PB a bit..

First after work session in 2011, decent winds.
Speeds graduately went up, had to adapt to the speedkit again after a week on el Medano.

Great start of the year. Used my Missile XS for the first time. I'm very pleased with the board. It accelerates better than the Missile S. I intended to take it easy today so that I could get used to the board. The board, however, handles so easy that it took not much time to het it going. I achieved some good speeds. I sailed from 13.15h - 16.00. The wind was too strong for most of the time. I think I should consider buying a smaller sail, or perhaps gain 10 kg in weight (I wonder what would be the best option to get better speeds, perhaps a good item for the forum).Â

Sessie 8; Het is de wind die lacht - Te veel wind in combinatie met de golven, een wave board met 4.0 gaf meer fun (Hans!) :-)
