Richard Steller (4700km): Victoria Point, QLD, AU First time at the Victoria Point sand bar. Took a while to get the lay of the land, but got about 2-3 good runs before the wind really died. Would really like to upgrade my 5.8m sail. It is on its last legs but still proves to be performing. I think I could have used a 6.6 at times on the flat water.
Good day overall. exocet 60L, 28 goldwing, 5.8 warp
Brad Cawthorne (5905km): Quick sail after work. Rigging up and time to put the boom on and found I left the mast shim for the boom at home, there was no way I was going home to get it. After a bit of searching for something to use all I could find were my work socks, they worked a treat AB+ 95l, 6.3 blade, 32 venom. The Grand, Southport, QLD, AU
RIGGS (4886km): Viki Point speed bank, wind was not very consistent, hard to be in the right spot at the right time. is86, 6.3 blade, 30cm venom
phil (16478km): Stuffed after the sessions on the weekend but could'nt resist a quick sail at The Grand. Got the speed board out at the end but just as the water was the flatest, the wind also backed off managing only 33 knots. Sonic 95, Blade 6.3, Drake 32. The Grand, Southport, QLD, AU Well done Richard and dont know how you can get 40 knots so often Pierre on that run thats not very flat!!!

ODIN (24578km): Thompsons beach , A couple of us decide to go down to the speed bank to give it a go.. Wind was much better when i first got out but the bar was just starting to expose so had to wait a little while for it to come out more ... After when it was ready the wind started to get a bit shifty , one moment its here and the next couple of 100m down pretty frustrating ,i managed to actually catch onto a 1 good continuous gust which brought up my 40kts and decided to go a bit further on the run to see how the board and fin combo would work in the messy stuff afetr leaving some flatish water , nearly all the way to coochie Is Jetty and was really good how it preformed , i have no dought that the nude 54 is a chop eater but was more concerned on how the new proto fin would handle it , not a problem held its line all the way and smashes through the chop , will give it a really good run next time with full confidence.... Caught couple of puffs here and there but nothing to great , next time i shall rig the 7.0 for these conditions , but then again the 6.2 is a power house man does that have grunt , even when i cracked 40 the wind wasnt that strong "but continous" and not a bit did i feel overpowered i actually didnt even feel that i hit 40kts till i got to the end of the run hitting into knee high chop .... All in all not a bad day just if the wind played along a bit better would have been much better results.
