The wind just kind of switched on today at a nice 15 knots for a few hours, great for the 8.5, then it picked up a few knots and I was itching to get out the CA. The wind wasn't awesome, but it was a load of fun.
Another day, another rescue. I saw a guy trying to flag down a passing jetskier, who completely ignored him, so I gybed back to see how he was getting on. Snapped mast at the base, so I sailed in to shore and got some guys on a small boat to follow me out to him. Gentlemen of middle eastern appearance, only too happy to help. BIG THUMBS UP TO THEM!
Great blasting around with Dave and Troy early on & good to finally meet Larko!

5047 days ago Nice cruisy day on the Bay with lotsa guys out having a sail in the sun.
Got there just as Larko & Sick-em got in from their SUP session.
Wind was starting to build but very on & off. Rigged the 7.0 & big board.
Had a few long runs with Karl, with a bit of slogging just off the plane.
Mike was looking very comfy with his 8.5 Loft.
Had to leave as it came in a bit more. Gotta love windsurfing

Larko (3629km):
5047 days ago Very mixed day. Nice SUP with Rexy over to and up the runway in glass off then wind picked up so light downwinder back. We all rigged but wind was too light for me. Definitely need a bigger board for the conditions. Shoulders been bad lately so took a Nurofen and some HTFU, the wind filled in a bit and then had some nice blats down the runway. Not used to such long runs but the water is so flat way out. 28.97 on the dial.
Great to finally meet up with Mike (the freakin' energiser bunny ) and catch up with Dave, Pete and Des. Missed Craig and a few others.
JP V 68, RSR 7.8 40cm crap fin.

Illawarra marathon, fun day with a great turn out, definately up for it again next year. Although maybe not with EVO III's, dont like them at all, they made my own sails feel a little too ordinary
JP Formula / starboard hwr, RSR III 10.7 & a mixture of VMG's fancy fins
Had a quick go on a mistral raceboard, i dont think i'll be going near one of those again any time soon..
