JP Slalom VI 65cm, NP Rss Mk IV 7.8m, JP slalom 40cm

Got down there it looked like it was a bit light in places so I rigged big, as I was rigging it was picking up. Hit he water and I'm a thunkin the 6.7 may be coming out.

Did one run down the outside of the run came back did a tweek, went and sailed over to Clauesville and discovered that my back which had been giving me grief whilst up in Karratha was also hurting a tad going over, the balance of the set up was nice just hurting, gybed fell of, got up fell of got up fell of again before finally not kooking it up again to get going.

The run back was interesting as the wind was picking up and I was starting to get some interesting jumps, interesting cause I was actually doing them right, not much height just projection. Got back with my back still sore and the intentions of changing down till I felt the area between my shoulder blades out as well so I decided to flag it.

Fun

Fun Session TR-4 6.6m iSo 94 Carbon JPweed 31cm, went for Alphas with Sammy and Decrep, thought I'd done some 24's, will have to check wider proximities, or may have been tightening up too much?

Edit, yeh both tightening up to about 5/ten metres and then had 24's at a too wide 59mYell

Safety Bay, WA, AU Futura 101 fresh from a trip to the panel Beaters, NP RS Slalom Mk III 7.0, 28cm Chamelion fin

Yet another great cruise at Safety Bay, wind was a bit light on for much of the session only really filling in near sunset by which time I was too stuffed to taake advantage of it. Had 2 27 knot Nauty Miles which i was pretty happy with given I took completely different paths for both and I think they are my SB bestLaughing

6.6m koncept, 101 futura, 39cm ultra pepe weed remix, Had a ball doing some runs to some blokes crab pot lines near the channel. Great sail with some more of the Mandurah mob rocking up when the wind filled in. Ended up sharing a couple of coldies with Shane, Simon and Stephanie, it was all about fun today. Where ever you looked there were people smiling, THATS what it's all about! CoolCoolCool

Glory Holes, 15-23knts SW'er (Just like BOM called it)

F2SX68, CASP50, 6,7m RSR Evo1, 34FO weedy and slingshot 23

Fun arvo sesh as the missus boat didnt race so a bonus sesh for me. 99% of the sesh on the SX. For my last run i plugged in the SP50. I got my peak and NM as the wind had filled in. As i gybed at the bottom of the run the wind swung to the south and dropped to 10knts. I then had a massive 45min walk of shame through countless stingrays, a million crabs and three devil fish stings. Yell

48cm speed board. 23cm lockwood, 6.0 avi speed sail

Played in alpha land with Sam and Hardie. Great fun, this would have to be my best alpha with a 6.0 sail.

Edit. - just booted up windoze (it's about 1/4 speed of ubuntu) and checked with real speed, lost a bit on 2s, 1hr and distance, but gained a bit on the alpha, so I'm going with realspeed.

Realspeed says, max speed 30.013 min 15.259 and distance 498.45.

This track looks different, the curve is more even, doesn't tighten up at the end like most of mine do.

Have to work on that.

Great fun at Hardies with boys.. Cool

Nice to catch up with the team again, its been a while. I thought I go down today for some peace not speed. Really enjoyed the "No Kites".. what the pleasure Wink. Bite disapointed with my Alpha Cry, I went hard and missed, I had a 24.921 at 58m YellYell. Sorry guys no backup from me!!

Awesome Alpha Mike and great pb Simon Cool Cool. I had few laps on the 50 in a diying breeze to top up my nbs! Peak and naughty on the CA50, rest on the Manta59. Great session overall, a session on 5.8 is a good session Wink.

Hey Decrepit, have you tried running windows inside the Oracle VM Virtualbox? Works perfectly here in Linux Mint and much more convenient that rebooting.

Thanks Ragnar, haven't got around to VM yet, I've tried it in wine. runs ok except it doesn't produce a machine code, so can't be registered.

Your right rebooting is a pain, don't do it very often. Must have a go at VM.

In the Mint software manager it's called virtualbox-nonfree. The "nonfree" version is the one to get - it's still free though. If you also install the virtual box guest additions you can connect to your ubuntu filesystem and read and write files to and from the virtual machine.

Should be vailable in the Ubuntu software centre.
