Stanley, TAS, AU

Early trip to Stanley today, for what we hoped would prove to be a good sail. Stanley didn't turn it on his time but gees it was nice. felt really good on the board today and had the new weight vest on which felt great. A real pity that i couldn't transfer how i was feeling in to numbersUndecided....

Still cant wait for the next trip!!! Who's keen for tomoz maybe!?Wink looks like it could go off in the afternoonLaughing

IS50, 5.8 koncept(still undecided on this sail, i much prefer the 5.0), vector delta 23

CoolMarion Bay, TAS, AU

Fun session on the F2 2003 Maui Project 8,5" wave board (new) it was actually fast for that board in that wind with a pointer 30cm fin.  I put it on a 7.3 ka which I needed today,  no problemSurprised it actually felt ok and balanced. Today was testing it for being my high wind jumping board. Very happy to have such a light strong high wind jumping board in the quiver that can hold big sails is a bonus. Laughing

Good to see so many out on the water today. thanks for posting the idea of Marion on SeabreezeSmile

Stay Happy RussSmile

Nice sail at Marion. Longer runs with a higher tide would have been nice though! Smile

Marion Bay, TAS, A nice sail with a few of the team. Tide went out too far, left us with bugger all water. Started with IS 121 and new switchblade 7.8 "Great Sail" then the IS 101 when the wind picked up a little.

Cremorne Beach, TAS, AU

Late sail at Cremorne out in Frederick Henry Bay. The mission was to do a good 1hr out there. First time I have ever sailed there and it was awesome. Heaps of fun but needed more wind, it was a bit up and down. Sailed across and back about 4.5 times to the other side which I think is Sloping Main. I only did 6 jibes which is the way to go and that definately helped my 1hr. Was hoping to get around a 22 knot 1hr so I am very happy with that. Did not sail downwind but just back and forth to the same spots. Had the Isonic 107, Reflex 7.0 (should have rigged the 7.8) but it looked windier than what it was) and C3 40cm Sting. That is such an unreal combo. Also weight jacket with 3kg of lead, which I should not have worn. Cannot wait to sail there again but next time get up wind and sail downwind. Actually I reakon that FHB would be the go for some big distance numbers, I was only sailing for 1.5 hours and the wind could have been better.

Great day at Stanley. Used Perks F2 missile and it felt really good, but just didn't seem to get the gusts.

Went to stanley and on the road at 5am, couple of 40's on the dial but was more focused on a good alpha as there was not quite enough wind. Any way, very pleased with my pb, had a few over 26!!! i was probably not a 100% as i have a cold but it didnt bother me when i was on the water, even though dad wend quickerYell

Wasn’t expecting 3 great numbers and a pb!. First real go on the JP Speed 45, it felt absolutely sweet in what was a fairly light day. Changed to the JP Speed 54 for the alphas to give me a little bit more speed out of the turn and back on to the plane, it seemed to work well. Both boards smoked junior!!!

Checked other GPS and had a little more in the alpha

Fantastic seesion up north and well done on the PB's

I've got a problem with my GPS, it's locked on showing 17.3 knots and not changing, Kaleb, bear, Stew and I all tried to turn in off at the end of the seesion but couldn't.  Took out the card and that reads 0KB SBN.  Has anyone have any ideas how I can fix

Well done Perks and Izaak on the speeds and PB's, GREAT work Smile

You could let it run flat Ant, apart from that dont know enough about them, hope it comes right Smile The GPS may need a firmware upgrade, if its running an old version.

Ant that has happened to me 3 or 4 times. The only thing as far as I know is to run it flat, you cannot turn it off. It seems to happen just after the battery has been fully charged. I have 2 GT 31 units and it always happens to the same one. My card read 0KB SBN as well.
