at river at 9.30, had to wait it out then had fun for about an hour. NW 15-18 approx out at 11.30 good times only one out for most of it. had one of my best alphas on the go until sand bar had last laugh( catapult and lots of giggles). Looks like thats my best times with that size sail and never overpowered so happy to find a balance with that it

Lots of faces showing up hope you all get that happy feeling.

bet there'sgoing to be a big fish blowing bubbles this afternoon.

Falcon 101 Koncept 6.4 Sting 38. Arrived a little late and rigged the 6.4 a little fuller due to the light conditions as the 7.8 is still out of action. Paid for that  fullness when the gusts came through. Sail was a pig in the big  gusts but ok every where else. Got mini catapulted while grovelling. WTF !!Yell

Hope everyone else had a better day than me.

Brabo sent me this message:

Hi Toby,

Thanks for your warm welcome. Mark Slade suggested to either join the Pinneroos or Wannabees. I thought it was probably best to join the smaller of the two teams. I really got into the slalom/speed sailing as a preparation for the LOC, but now I am hooked. I normally sail at Pelican Point, but also go to other spots if the wind direction requires so. It will be nice to part of a team. My sail number is SZ.

So, see you out there on the water.

Cheers,

Stijn aka brabo

Brabo- Dont know. KA 72 is what most of us do. I dont know about uploading from GPSAR but have used the software to make a few movies. Good question for the seabreeze.com.au forums- GPS Speed sailing. http://www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/Gps/
