Oh yeh! Real wind today. I reckon between 2 and 3pm was as windy as I can remember since last winters fronts.
lots of crew out with really small sails (its funny to see all the old school small sails come out for a run!!)
I wanted to try my new 6.2 reflex regardless of wind strength and I paid the price with the forearms blowing up after only 3 runs. Then I (yes Toby) snapped some more harness lines at high speed and if not for my helmet would have seriously ruptured my eardrum again!!! (wear those helmets boys)
Had a blast but it wasnt until I was really stuffed that I worked out the runs over some relatively flat water (wasnt really that flat at all?) and got some decent runs in until I could not hold on any more. So I say its successful if you had fun and didnt hurt yourself.
Sure that there will be some smokin speeds posted today
