iS122, 8.8CRed, 44 Talon - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU Wind SE 9 - 14knots

Woohoo - first bit of wind since about one month ago.  Only 4 weeks since my last sail but it never ceases to amaze me how quickly physical conditioning disappears.  Changed harness half way through sail as new one is too big and just rides up too high.   Came off on my last gybe of the day when i accidently hooked in - water was refreshing to say the least without a wetsuit on. Surprised

Kurrimine Beach....5.9m Loft 02 and 90l Gunny Runner which is usually too small but I am hoping to get used to again.

Good tides and 7 sailors and a friendly Tea Bagger called Bob.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU .Big arvo in Port.Went down the beach for an afternoon session Richard was there wanting to get another wind fix,the tide was in and kites were getting trashed, looked good for a hard session rigged new bute 6.6m put a smaller fin in trusty 101,Richard rigged 5.8m on small JP board.Went for a blast didn't take long to realise it was f..king honking, went back to shore and flattened rig out to the max..Went out wide to try and get a bit of speed hapening, sea has angary ,would of been easy to have a major wipe out.which would of broken gear,I pushed it as far as i was game to trying to crack 30 kts, didn't quite make it..Richard had a grin from ear to ear and sail very well, saw him do a few speed runs he should get some good readings..We both had an unreal session..And a few points for the team..Cheers Ed..
