ODIN (24578km): Well we didnt get 25 to 30 kts but alot of rain squalls so the wind was always up and down ... I should have rigged the 7.0 but im still in the testing faze on the 7.8 and some of the gusts were getting pretty powerfull for the rig but i realized i was a little bit under downhauled causing some good drag so i will see 2morow again with a new test. Caught a decent gust to pip a good 2 sec but otherwise not too good for the rest of the results but will keep on tunning .... JP VII 68 , EVO III 7.8 , Sonntag SL-P 40 | ||||||||||||||||||
phil (16478km): Took another long, long drive to Wello and rigged the 7m. Had a few runs then drifted back in and was looking as bad as yesterday. Luckly a few squalls came through to make it a worthwhile sail. Tried all 3 of my boards even the speed board but got my best results on the biggest- the CA! Would of made the 100 km but broke a batten after falling on the sail (too tired) Sonic95/CASP50/CASL62, Blade 7.0, 36 fin (wish I could remember the name?) PS. Hey Glennis, where were you!!!!

Brad Cawthorne (5905km): Went to the grand and it looked pretty good but saw a few people at the train so did the social thing and went there. Big mistake what a hell hole of a place to sail, better than work, should have rigged bigger but just soo gusty. So much crap air coming off all the highrises, they're popping up everywhere. Note to self: never sail the train ,ever.Don't do it. The Train, Southport, QLD, AU |
