Woke up today to warmth and a big old hangover...........damn you Jack daniels!!!

Went to melville to find Wind had filled in nicely. In my fragile state I didnt think I had much chance of making quick decisions at high speed with moderate chop.

So made the executive decision to go bump and jump and had a ball.

Enjoyed watching Slowy and other guns heading off wind over the bar from the water. Saw a hell crash and knew I had made the right choice for the day.

Cured the hangover (at least whilE I WAS OUT ON THE WATER) and lots of nice little ramps for launching all over the river

Got out at about 10am and the wind steadly grew as the morning progressed. It started as a Northerly but felt more like an Easterly! Big gusts or bullets as Troutty likes to call them. Shifted to more Westerly about 12.00 but I had to pack up just as it started to look like fun

Melville Beach, WA, AU JP 92,KA 6.4,5.7 started out on the 6.4 which I was on most of day but generally overpowered,changed over to the 5.7 which felt great. Wished I changed over much earlier. Oh well theres allways tomorrow !

Great day. The water had some nice flat sections. Maybe I could have handled a bigger sail/fin, but this combo was really comfortable. I should probably venture a little bit further outside my comfort zone next time. Happy with the PB's
