Kurnell, 15-20 knots West (occasional 25 knot gust)

Carbon Art SL58, Loft Switchblade 6.8, 35cm Select S05

I was about to start rigging the formula gear, then the wind came in from nowhere. Nice!

MMMM I can come home a happy boy now. 15-25 SW, kept switching between the Falcon 51 speed and the Falcon 80 slalom. Best speed was on the 80 but just didn't get the right gust for the speed to show it's talents. But what an easy board to sail. Had my Koncept 5.0 up and used Venom 24 and 26. Forecast looks good for a couple more days this week, fingers crossed for more pb's!!Laughing

Fun but frustrating day at the Pit. Had GPS problems which I hope Daffy has fixed, it turned off twice. Had 33.77 on the dial which was disappointing as I went too big with gear. The new Falcon 99 was great but just too big for the conditions. First run with the 6.2 I couldnt even get into the back strap, fully overpowered!!!! Lots of squalls and lots of sun which was nice. Rexy was killing it, got one of the gusts of the day. I had a big off on a run back towards the launch, just got lifted and smashed. Quit while I was ahead. A few of the guns got a massive squall late in the day.

Really sweet to bear off down the course in crystal clear water but just overdone. Live and learn.

Falcon 99, RSR Evo II 6.2, JP 34.

Love it Sam!!!! But like you said, that Falcon speed is EEEEEEEEEEEEasy to sail. Just like a little slalom board. Martin Love and Spotty were looking at it very closely Wink

Well done Rexy , nice speeds.  That Falcon Speed is one sweet looking board, very pretty indeed. I just wish they would stack a bit more volume into these little speed boards to make them easier to get going in the gusty crap behing the Dunes but bet it will be a ball tearer in good conditions.
