Golden Beach, QLD, AU didnt start too early today so missed the low tide .very lumpy,but enough water to sail across sand flats.wind changed to easterly for while after lunch and backed off,so had some long runs to the wharfs,used 86 I, 29 caqsper.6.5 naish,nicely powered up today.

 A great sail. Wind  steadier today, excerpt when the wind dropped to nil for about 40min -Just enough time for us all to walk back to the beach before it came in again

Golden Beach, then Lake Weyba, QLD, AU

Started early on the water about 7.15am to catch the low tide.  Used 5.7 Koncept and F2 sxsm speed board and 26 select fin.  Wind was finally perfect direction to come down the bank but unfortunately the wind was only about 15 or so knots.  My first 5 runs were all over 30 knots without even feeling powered up.  Wind then died out and then started coming back stronger at around 9am but by then the bank was getting covered and was no good with all the chop so gave it away and headed up to Lake Weyba.  All speeds from GB session expect NM.

Got to the lake at about midday and it was looking really steady and fairly sunny.  Thought about using the 5.7 again but then decided to use the 6.4 Koncept with the JP Slalom.  Had a few runs in some massive squalls, was too much so came in to change down.  Shouldn't have bothered as wind then backed off.  Had a few ok runs on the 5.7 and then the wind decided to stop when I was in the middle of the lake and had to walk it back in.  Of course when we all came back in the wind came back again.  Still a very good day up at the lake, just didn't get the right combo happening. Top speed on lake was 27.83 with the 6.4

A much better sail than yesterday. Thought for a while the bigger combination was going to be too much but it turned out to be just right. In fact not big enough when I got caught on the far side of the lake when the wind dropped out.
