Jp slalom 91 Lt - 32 fin 6.2 h2

Didnt get down there till 3:30 and on water around 4 ish. Wind just kept getting stronger. Really impressed how nicely the H2 handled the gust.

Pretty happy with the speeds considering i didnt really do any bearaways at all.

Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU

late get out after work, horribly gusty & the most north Ive seen it. Mostly chop bashing with the odd bearaway slapathon. Chris and I had fun doing some straight down the pond runs, gusts were up around a solid 25 later on. Definitely too much sail at times, beats working.

We did the second shift, El Kapitan had been out with a competitors sailWink 3 days in a row now, sweet.

JP 68, 7.8 RSR Evo III, 40 Talon.

A stonkin black Nor Easter. I haven't checked Seabreeze but I'm confident there were some 30knot gusts out there. No real flat water so it was a case of tuck your balls between your legs and just go for it! Good to meet you Sparky, you looked like you were going nicely when I left. Mike, looking smooth as ever and great fun chasing you around. Ads was doing his best to hang on to his 6.2 and Tim looked like he was turning his sail inside out in some of the gusts. Great to be out midweek and not having to battle crowds.

Loved being out on my Falcon 80 again and would have preferred to be on a 5.0 but used my RSR 5.8 which was fine except for the gusts.

* edit- I knew it....38 knot gusts registered at the airport!!

That's some distance given the conditions Mike! Impressive.

Good to meet you too Rex. Maybe you were looking at someone else though - I was just hanging on for dear life! I packed up just after you guys left, knowing it was only a matter of time before a big stack. Given the BOM is showing a 38kt gust at 5.30, that looks to have been the right move...

Should have packed the little sails... grrr!
