Another play with the 6.6 testing its limits. Haven,t quite found it yet but got very close Wink. Wind turned up a bit late so we only got a short time on the strip with a very high low tide. Dragged Dan down to the Yanakie end first thing on a very broad seat of your pants run. He looked a bit pale after that Laughing Dogged around there untill the wind moved to a westerly so off we went to Sandy Point B on to find that the sand has moved and the strip isn,t there any more Cry but another one even better may form Surprised.Sailed back up to the main run, Dan walked a fair way, something to do with a non performing fin. C3 mate Wink Had a play with Mal, Tom and Richie with a few kitters, 2 of them giving me and Mal a few scares. I missed my one by inches and ended up ducking under his kite lines as he cut into the bank to jump back out Yell and it was only my yell that stopped the jump.

Finished the day chasing swell lines on the high tide and running NM,s The fastest one of the day was the last one with a 33.9 peak which rattled everything but the sail and could have held another 5-10 kts but up wind was a bit of hard work. Really starting to love this sail, just so stable and slippery and should work well as a light wind speed sail

Richie rocked up very late in the morning, scared himself by going fast then declared that he needed his special moca, soy latte with chocolate sprinkles on went home....soft.

Sl52,Ka Koncept 6.6 2012,Venom 30 with the Venom 34 getting the top speed (Wind came up)

Just relised that i,ve knocked off Dave in the individual with a NM pb for this year, Kaleb,s next Wink

1.30pm late start then out at 4.00 before the high tide. Spent the whole time on the speed run always a bit underdone on the 5.4 but great fun anyway.
