Falcon 101,Koncept 6.4,leading edge weed. 1st time sail at safety bay - Nice spot will be going back for more. Got Lao shi to show me the run and followed him on a couple of runs and now I realise how much you have to bear off.

Didnt go for many speed runs as a little concerned with catching the weed or bottom and getting catapulted. Need to get a smaller weedy and put some more time in down there and learn the ropes.

Slappa rocked up just as I come in to pack up.

Mark offered me a go on his new 2012 6.3 Loft blade and it is sweet. So smooth and locked in. Totally different feeling to the Koncept.

Got down to SB at 3.15pm to see lots of crew packing up...............geez must be windy!!!!!!

Now I know what fully lit on a 6.2 means.

Was absolutely cranking today. had no idea about my speeds at the time, but I felt like i was just keeping the weedy under control. At the end of the run it was insane trying to slow down into full on breaking peaky chop and then gybe. As Col said (you think you can gybe alright till you try it out the back!)

too many kiters and too much chop for any real speeds but happy with the bottom end of the reflex
