Coal Point, NSW, AU

20 kt NE. Isonic 101 with Drake 40 fin and Maui TR6 7.6m Sail

Sand islands where patchy and rough all day, too many boats - too much chop. Did one run at 30.36, but decided to go out again at 5.30 pm when all the anchored boats had gone. Stood on the sand island and waited for all the remaining boat chop and the odd windsurfer to get out of the way. Then gritted my teeth i hit the flat water just as a gust arrived and beared away as the run progressed the chop grew in size I considered chickening out but had time to think about what Byron would do (Pull in hard, hang on and smile) Result a PB of 32.14

NE 20 kn and a bit rough.Lots of big boats did not help smooth conditions. 6 or 7 other sailors there as well. Was a good workout.

Rigged a 4.2 initially and took my 4 year old for a sail on the front of the board - fun times!  Then had a short formula session in the dying breeze.  Beautiful sunny, warm, windy day.

James, Hopefully I will be able to get out from around 4 pm, (which is the best time anyway) Hoping to use a 6m and a smaller fin.

When I posted I had the tenth highest speed in the world this year! (already down to 19th)
