Great day, first time on the water for 2 months! Feels a bit strange! Liked the spot, no stacks and not as choppy as SP with E winds. Nice to see a big crowd all in one spot :-)

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU, great turn out, some of the PiT Crew, Busters and the Bonno team, Bondy, Jman and KGB. Started with the Rocket in the chop, closer to low tide and when the wind picked up, time for the Futura. Quite a step up from the Rocket, which is more forgiving. Had one scary run tail walking in the gust, but otherwise sweet and quick. Fin wasn't optimal probably, so more experimenting required. (good to beat the Russian thoughTongue out)

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

Really enjoyable sail at area 45, with heaps of people on the water. Started with the RRD 95 Freewave with a freeride fin, which was nice and comfortable. Later swapped to more of a slalom fin which added a few knots of speed. Couldn't quite crack the 30kts on the set up I had. Would have loved to have had my 87 Isonic and 5.8 Koncept, but camping for the week, we had too much stuff with all the kids equipment etc. (they had fun at invy)

Still, it was fun blasting around with all the others and great jibing practice.

RRD 95lt Freestyle/wave, NP 5.8 Alpha wave, 30cm slalom fin.

Good work on the PB's guys.

I didn't wear the GPS yesterday and Saturday. I had a great sail at Parkdale after meeting with PYC to discuss the WV Classic event. I sailed for about 4 hours until I was over powered. I had some ripper down winder runs and some fun small swell rides. The Flare goes up wind like train, where I was sailign as high as Mordy and then down to sourthern Mentone.

Flare 116, 6.1m

Jerry, if it hadn't taken you so long to decide what to rig Laughing I think you would have given Dan a run for his money on the distance!

Bondy - fairly certain you can merge them in Realspeed. Not 100% sure of the exact procedure though as I no longer have a "registered" version on my PC.

George - sorry. I think maybe it was because Bondy and Jerry were already down there on holidays. And I go most weekends when the forecast is decent. We didn't really make plans to head down, it just worked out that some of us were there. Will let you know next time a decent forecast for Invy comes along.

Sounds like a good session Steve!

I sailed at 45 for the first hour without my gps as I had forgotten to bring my Paqua bag. Jerry lent me one when he arrived. I think I may have passed the 100 kms if I had worn it from the start.

Bondy,  Just open each datafile in a seperate page in KA72 (if thats what you use), pick your best speeds for each category and add the distance of all 3 sessions together.  Then just do a manual session entry.

Hey dan I didnt have to drive home, only to the caravan park we came home today after a 2 week stay at Inverloch Smile

Was certainly a good day even with plenty of people on the water it never seemed crowded.

Well done on PB guys_looks like Area 45 was good.

Sailed at Somers on Sun arvo from a mates beach house, first time out there and had a great sail Loft 6.6m and Starboard Kombat 105. water was flat and wind was direct cross-shore,did long runs out to the channel markers and back.

Top spot to sail on a east wind.Cool

Didn't have the gps with me so couldn't post results.

No, we can not let Bondy to manipulate with speed and distances! He'll add the speed and multiply the distance!
