DazzaJ (3270km): Inverloch, VIC, AU Thank you all for a fun day - great turn out... had guests so bailed early. With only 9 - 13 knots, only nerds would be wearing a GPS .......... ooops I don't know how mine got on my arm!!! Although I did get a few runs of 20+ knots.... go figure. >>>>> I still love my light wind gear (iSonic 117 wide, 7.5 NCX Severne) Well, if anyone's interested our sail past went something like this: http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=23666&tid=0 Nice sails Moondo and Drift - you boys are die-hard!! | ||||||||||||||||||

Drift (5307km): LOCATION: ANGLING CLUB- AUSTRALIA DAY FESTIVITIES WIND: S_SW- <5-8 KTS GEAR: Starboard SUPer 12'6, FOSTERS LAGER RAF SAIL with Aussie Flag on the Leech, KA Koyote 8.2 DETAILS: Longboard sailpast for Australia Day was a hoot with about 20 boards on the water, all resplendid with Australian flags. Wind was up and down but enough to have a bit of fun. In between the sailpast, the beach cricket challenge and a few lessons for new IWC members, I got a few longboard runs in. A pleasant day out |
