RRD 90 v4, 5.8m koncept, 31.5cm talonweed. Dialing in the new board today, and rreeeally pleased with the result. Smile  Got to Novara early enough to watch Hards and Elmo rigging up around 6m. Decided to see how they went on thier respective gear.  Twas fairly strong early but seemed to back off a fraction enough for me to get the 5.8 out, along with SMS, rigging about the same. Great day was had by all by the looks of the smiles.

Rigged way to much F'ken gear today to list it all.

First down the run to be greeted with a very high tide and the strongest breeze we have had in a f'ken long time, Hardz rocked up not much later.

Decided to rig the 6.2SurprisedSurprised OMGSurprised How do you rig a sub 7m sail?SurprisedSurprisedSurprised didn't realise booms could be closed up that much.

Went out roiginally with the 65cm but it was interesting trying to keep the board on the water as the sail was getting it of the water all the time. went back to shoreafter a short time with my ail between my legs eventually Hardz came back and talked me into using the speed board, went out again and it was sweet a couple of runs later thewind was getting a bit religious, especialy when I was trying to get going, the gusts were fun to hook into but the holes murdered me.

Went back in put the speed board away  got the 65 back out and went back out again but the wind was still falling and the 6.2 was feeling a bit small so went back rigged the 7.0 went back out good for a run or 2 then this was starting to feel small.

Went back and changed sails to the 7.8 and the 40cm  fin went back out again but trying to get the balance right was a bit tricky with the holes I kept hitting, started to get the feeling going then the wind backed of again so flagged it and went in having had enough for the day.

As I was procrastinating about de-rigging the wind picked up by the time I decided to go back out the wind was dropping agai, went back out got a few runs in the started hitting holes again this time I'd seriously had enough.

Never felt in sync with the days conditions allways seemed to be one step out of whack, ya get days like that. got some aches and pains going on.

The wind for the day

Started early got my pb on the second run. Wind slowly went SE, than E, so went to go up a sail size. That idea was stopped in it's track by snapping another piece of shit severne mast, no 4 for me. This being my back up, as my other one is at severne's loft, my day came to a grinding hault. Hope the rest of the team have more luck.

F2SX Extra Small, Reflex3 7.8m, 28cm Goldwing custom weedy

Fun sail wit heaps of crew and new faces. No really speed sailing conditons but fun all the same. My first two runs were on my new 6.2m reflex3. It's one sweet slippery sail it just needs 25knts to really light up. The 7.8m continues to impress me with it's top end controlCool

Arrived late with the wind still blowing well, Shane had his new 5 rigged so I went with the 5.3 on the 48. By the time I hit the water it was dropping, so after a while came in and changed up to the 6.0, continued to drop so went with the 53 after lunch.

Couldn't seem to get my act together today, looking at my tracks, I wasn't going deep enough for some reason.

More pissed with myself, I was about 2 steps behind the conditions all day, hurt the body early on in the day when only Hardz was out, all down hill from there.

That's life in Red fur, sometimes sh1t sticks to it
