Peel Inlet, WA, AU  Broke my fave carbon boom 3kms from launching zone, but on the estuary, hit a sand bank at speedYell, long walk of shame, but had fun on an easterly maybe 15 to 20kts?

105 rrd, 6.6m koncept, 33cm talonweed, Dying easterly, got down a bit too late. Still had a couple of good runs, water getting a bit shallow in places.

Another fun easterlie sail. rigged the 6.0 on the 53, could have used the 48, but if the wind drops, it's a pain slogging back from Ward pt.

Was about to launch when hardie arrived back sans rig. I was a bit nervous when he described what happened, so didn't venture into the nice flat stuff, just no way of telling how shallow it is.

Lent Glen my spare GT11, didn't do my damaged ego much good, he beat me on his wave gear.

Just to put this in context, he's 50% heavier, with a 10% smaller wave sail, and I wasn't much more than nicely powered up.

Welcome aboard Stroppo!!!!!!

Hey Stroppo, not such a humble start when you're underpowered, on wave gear!!!!!

Your distance was 26.46Km, not that it matters much, but you might as well enter it.
