wife said "gee looks windy today, you should go for a sail" Aaahhh ok. down to the river after work, I went. Garry baker in the carpark, long time no see. To start with wind was 5 to about 18kn. nice gusts but big holes. First decent sail in an easterly.
On way back in noticed Garry waving at me, hmmm must want something, headed towards him then got thrown over the bars, WTF. turns out he was trying to stop me from sailing into crab pot rope(with only a coke bottle on the end)didn't see them at all. There was a line of them strung across peli about 50 metres out from launch area. Garry dragged two into the shallows. When fishermen came into check them Garry kindly pointed out the pots for them and they went off at him , how dare he move there pots, told him they would run him over next time. don't think they realised who they were messing with, them being in a boat and Garry in the water. they were a couple of D...h..ds, while Garry called the cops I pointed out to them that we couldn't see them and someone could get seriously hurt. they said we couldn't give a f..k. Next time its out with a knife and they can kiss there pots goodbye. Like I said D..kh..ds.
Wind filled in after a while but washing machine chop coming from all directions made life tough for any good speeds but had a great time out there. missed the mark with all my best gybes, really have to sort that out.
No wonder I felt tired when finished, cracked the century sweet, should let Sachin know how it's done He he.
